FY15 Pavement Preservation Project

LEE BOULEVARD AND GAIL GARDNER WAY PAVEMENT REPAIR CONTINUES

Crews will be working to microsurface Lee Boulevard Monday and Tuesday and Gail Gardner Way Wednesday through Friday.

Weather permitting, this work will occur:
  • Monday, September 22 and Tuesday September 23 from from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
GAIL GARDNER WAY SIDEWALK REPAIR

Crews will be repairing sidewalks on Gail Gardner Way.

Weather permitting, this work will occur:
  • Monday, September 22 and Tuesday, September 23 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
LEE CIRCLE AND OLD BLACK CANYON HIGHWAY SLURRY SEAL BEGINS

Crews will begin placing a slurry seal on Lee Circle north of Highway 69 and on Old Black Canyon Highway south of Highway 69.

Weather permitting, this work will occur:
  • Wednesday, September 24 through Friday, September 26 from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
RUBBER CHIP SEAL REPAIRS SCHEDULED

Crews will begin chip sealing pavement, with striping to follow, in the following areas throughout the week:
- Shalimar Drive
- Cathedral Pines
- Vista Verde Estates
- Talwatha Drive

Weather permitting, this work will occur:
  • Monday, September 22 and Tuesday, September 23 from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.


    For all these areas, please be aware of lane restrictions, reduced speeds, and flagging operations throughout the construction zone as work begins. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times through the work zone during work hours. Normal traffic operations will be restored during non-work hours.


  • Pavement preservation work will be on-going on various roads throughout the City. Many road repairs are a multi-step process requiring the contractor to make initial improvements and then return at a later date to complete the work. Once complete, these road improvements will provide for a smoother and quieter ride for the community.
