The City of Prescott has completed final striping of the roadway along Whipple Street from West Merritt Avenue to Miller Valley Road, Ruth Street at Prescott High School, and Iron Springs Road at Meadowridge Road. This work completes the City of Prescott Fiscal Year 2013 Pavement Rehabilitation Project. In addition to this work, crews completed pavement repair operations along several other city streets: Sheldon Street, North Marina Street, and Pleasant Street.

Improvements along these work zones included removing aging asphalt and concrete, repairing the underlying pavement structure, and placing new pavement. The project also included new curb and gutter on North Marina Street and installation of handicap accessible ramps along portions of Whipple Street, Sheldon Street, and North Marina Street.

The finished project has extended the useful life of these streets and resulted in a smoother ride that will serve all roadway users well into the future.

Pavement rehabilitation is complete along Whipple Street.
These improvements allow for a smoother ride along this well-traveled corridor.

The City of Prescott and Asphalt Paving & Supply are proud to bring improvements of this nature to the Prescott community as part of a commitment to providing the traveling public with the highest quality roadways. Your support has been appreciated as our crews have worked to reconstruct these streets.

Please note: In the event of equipment failure or inclement weather, the work schedule may be altered or suspended without notice.
